MY COMPANY HAS BEEN DISSOLVED ON COMPANIES HOUSE; HOW DO I MAKE IT ACTIVE AGAIN? THE PROCESS OF RESTORING YOUR COMPANY

February 9, 2023

If you fail to file your Confirmation Statement(s) or Year-end Account(s) you will receive a Compulsory Strike Off Application. When this happens and you fail to comply with it, your company will be dissolved. It is also likely your bank account will be frozen and you can end up with your money being sent to the Crown.

To restore your business and get your money back, you need to follow the process below to restore the entity to the company register:

    1. Compete the Form RT01 here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/apply-for-administrative-restoration-to-the-register-rt01
    2. Complete all your outstanding Statutory Accounts.
    3. Complete all your outstanding Confirmation Statements
    4. Post all of the above documents with a cheque for the £100 restoration fee plus the outstanding file fees of each years late Confirmation Statement of £40 per year. If you do not have a cheque book to pay Companies House please see our article here https://www.spondoo.co.uk/tips/i-need-to-pay-companies-house-via-cheque-but-i-do-not-have-a-cheque-book/
