Regionally and Spondoo Accountants

July 9, 2021

At Spondoo Accountants we are true believers of the Regionally concept, not only for its benefits to our clients in the capital raising cycle but also for its benefits of ensuring the efficient allocation of capital across the entirety of the UK economy.

Who are Regionally?

Regionally is an investment service, designed to serve two key parties:

Businesses – across the United Kingdom (not just London) to raise capital or diversify their capital financing structure.

Investors – specifically, high net worth individuals, sophisticated investors, and investment professionals looking to access investment opportunities within regional UK businesses.

Our role with Regionally

Spondoo Accountants work as Regionally Corporate Advisors. We help businesses to become investment-ready while providing post-investment support and guidance.

The Regionally platform’s primary focus is to bridge the gap between regional businesses and the national or even global investors community. The platform facilitates a way to invest through a convenient online environment and incorporates innovative ways of streamlining the entire process of investment.

As regionally partners, we bring together like-minded businesses and investors, assisting them to engage with the Regionally service.

We achieve in the following ways:

  • Work with companies looking to raise finance to meet the minimum criteria for the Regionally exchange
  • Contribute to delivering cash flow models, forecasts, and valuations, when preparing companies to become investment ready.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of post-investment performance to ensure scale-ups meet the high standards of Regionally and its constituent members.
  • We introduce investors to Regionally, or third-party advisors who can review and advise on the UK investments offer by the platform
  • As part of the becoming investment-ready stage, we produce focused solution-driven financial due diligence reports helping companies attract investment and enabling investors to make fully informed investment decisions.

Regionally is OPEN to investors!

Are you an investment professional, sophisticated investor, or high net worth investor or company? Talk to us to find out how you can join the Regionally platform as an investor member.

Onsite Canteen and Lunch Vouchers - Are They Taxable?

The provision of food and drink to an employee by their employer is a lovely thing to do. Eventually, it promotes teamwork, loyalty, a sense of belonging and even improves productivity. Taking it at face value makes it look like a simple act of kindness. However, unless it is done correctly, it can cause tax and national insurance compliance issues for the employer.
